Analysis tool

LabChart BP and Sympathetic Burst Macro Generator

Configure cardiac, hemodynamic, and sympathetic burst analysis, then generate the selected LabChart macro locally in your browser.

Desktop or tablet recommended

You can use this tool on a phone, but a larger screen is recommended for reviewing channel assignments and macro code.

Private, browser-based generation

This tool generates macro code from the settings you enter. It does not access or upload your LabChart recordings.

Configure a tailored LabChart macro

Set up the required channels, select supported analysis pathways, validate the configuration, and generate the macro locally in your browser.

The BP and Burst Analyzer advances through cardiac cycles and can extract cardiovascular variables from continuous recordings. Correct LabChart channel preparation is required before the macro can run.

Test on a copy

Run every generated macro on a duplicate LabChart file first. You remain responsible for checking cardiovascular event detection and all Data Pad output before using results.

Why duplicate and derive signals?
Separate raw, duplicated, filtered, derivative, and calculation channels let the validated macro use each signal for a specific purpose without changing the original recordings. Do not consolidate these channels.
Why manual checking is required
A generated macro can match channel indexes and selected code pathways, but it cannot inspect signal quality, confirm event markers, validate comments, or judge whether detected cardiovascular events are physiologically correct.
LabChart setup guide

Follow these checkpoints before generating the macro. The supplied source does not define channel-calculation, filter, or Data Pad formulas, so use your laboratory's validated LabChart setup and verify every binding manually. Placeholder panels identify screenshots that can be added later.

Original recorded channelsConfirm that ECG, blood pressure, and SNA are present, then enter each displayed LabChart channel number in the generator.
Duplicate a signal channelCreate a separate duplicate of each recorded signal. Keep the original ECG, blood-pressure, and SNA channels unchanged.
Configure a derived channelUse your laboratory's validated LabChart settings to create each calculation as a separate channel, then record its displayed channel number.
Blood-pressure derivative channelsCreate separate first-, second-, and third-derivative channels from the duplicated blood-pressure signal using your validated settings.
Filtered SNA channelsCreate separate SNA noise-derivative, band-pass-filtered SNA, and filtered-SNA derivative channels using your validated filter settings.
Cardiac event markersFor event-marker advancement, place cardiac-cycle markers on the selected duplicated ECG or blood-pressure reference channel.
Required LabChart commentsPlace the exact start analysis comment on the selected duplicated cardiac-reference channel. Add the exact end analysis comment and any event comments required by the selected workflow.
LabChart macro windowPaste and review the generated code in LabChart's macro window, then run it first on a copy of a representative recording.

Configuration is stored only in this tab's session storage and is cleared when the browser session ends. JSON is downloaded only when you choose Export.
