About the Stroop Go/No-Go Test
Task design, scoring, and privacy.
What the task does
The task presents colour words in matching or mismatching ink. One-button mode uses a fixed Spacebar or tap/click response. Multi-button mode adds ink-colour selection.
Results summarize accuracy, errors, and reaction time for one session.

Trial outcomes
| Outcome | Definition |
|---|---|
| Correct response | A response occurs when the selected mode requires one. |
| Correct withhold | No response occurs when the selected mode requires withholding. |
| Commission | A response occurs on a withhold trial. |
| Omission | No response occurs on a response trial. |
| Wrong colour | In multi-button mode, the response does not match the ink colour. |
- Interference
- In multi-button mode, incongruent minus congruent median correct-response time. It is not reported for one-button mode because congruent trials usually require withholding.
- Variability
- Sample standard deviation of correct-response times.
